The antenna cable in the Sony Xperia Z2 links the main board to the aerial in the phone's frame. If the cable is torn, pinched or its connector is loose, often after a drop or an earlier repair, signal becomes weak or keeps dropping.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Xperia Z2, and the model number should be D6502, D6503 or D6543. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Xperia Z2 has a 5.2-inch screen and a glass back. The Z3 looks similar but is thinner.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Unclip the old antenna cable from its connectors and route.
- Fit the new cable along the same path and press the connectors on firmly.
- Reconnect the battery, check signal, then seal the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Xperia Z2?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Xperia Z2 (models D6502, D6503 and D6543). It does not fit the Xperia Z1, Z3 or Z2 Tablet.
Does it fit the Xperia Z3?
No. The Xperia Z3 is a different phone with a different internal layout. This part is for the Xperia Z2 only.
Will it fix no signal at all?
Only if the antenna cable is the cause. Try another SIM card first. If signal is still weak with a new cable, the main board may need checking.
Is it made by Sony?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality antenna flex cable made to fit the Sony Xperia Z2, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The back cover is glued on and needs heat to remove, and the small connectors are easy to damage.
