What this part is
The side keys are the buttons you press on the edge of the Xiaomi Mi 9. They sit in the frame and press on small switches on a flex cable inside. If a key is cracked, missing or rattles, replacing the key restores a neat look and a firm press.
These are the outer button caps only. If a button feels normal but does nothing, the fault is usually the flex cable inside, not the key. Choose the colour that matches your phone's frame.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Mi 9. The model number is also shown there. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Mi 9 has three rear cameras. The Mi 9 SE also has three, but it is a smaller phone, so check the name carefully.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the Mi 9 glass back to soften the adhesive and lift it off slowly with a thin pick.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Move the internal parts as needed to reach the button area and remove the old keys from the frame.
- Fit the new keys in the same position and check that each one clicks cleanly.
- Reassemble the phone, reconnect the battery and test power and both volume buttons.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Mi 9?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Mi 9. It does not fit the Mi 9 SE, Mi 9 Lite, Mi 9T or any other model.
Does it fit the Mi 9 SE?
No. The Mi 9 SE is a different phone with a different internal layout. This part is for the Mi 9 only.
Will this fix a button that does nothing when pressed?
Usually not. These are the outer keys. A button that feels normal but does not respond normally needs a new button flex cable inside the phone.
Is it made by Xiaomi?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality side keys made to fit the Xiaomi Mi 9, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The glass back is glued on and needs heat to remove, and the battery must be disconnected first.
