What this part is
On the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 4G / Note 10S, the display does not plug straight into the main board. A flex cable carries the display signal between them. If this cable is torn, creased or damaged by liquid, the screen can go black, flicker or show lines, even though the display panel is fine.
Check the screen for cracks or ink marks first. A cracked or leaking display needs a new screen, not this cable. If the display is undamaged but the picture drops out, a new flex cable is often the fix. It fits the Redmi Note 10 4G and Redmi Note 10S.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the edges of the back cover and lift it off carefully with a thin pick.
- Remove the covers and screws, then disconnect the battery.
- Disconnect the old flex from the display and main board, and peel it away.
- Fit the new flex and press each connector home firmly.
- Reconnect the battery and test display, touch and brightness before closing.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
