The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro display flex cable links the screen to the main board and carries the picture and touch signals. It can crack or loosen after a drop, bend or earlier repair, which leaves the display black, flickering or striped even though the screen itself is not broken.
This is a technician's repair part. It is used when testing shows the screen panel is fine but the connection between screen and board has failed. If the glass or panel is cracked, you need a new screen instead.

Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Redmi Note 12 Pro. Tap All specs for the full model name and number. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the edges of the back cover and lift it off carefully with a thin pick.
- Remove the screws and covers over the main board, then disconnect the battery.
- Unplug and remove the damaged flex, then fit and connect the new one.
- Reconnect the battery and test display, touch and brightness before closing.
- Refit the covers and screws, apply new adhesive and press the back cover on evenly.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
