The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G loudspeaker (also called the ringer or buzzer) sits at the bottom of the phone and plays ringtones, alarms, music, video sound and speakerphone. Water, dust or a drop can damage it, which leaves the sound quiet, crackly or completely silent.
Before replacing it, clean the speaker grille gently with a soft dry brush, check the volume settings and try a restart, because blocked grilles and software settings can cause the same symptoms. If the sound is still missing or distorted, a new loudspeaker module is the usual fix.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the edges of the back cover and lift it off carefully with a thin pick.
- Remove the screws and the lower cover, then disconnect the battery.
- Lift the old loudspeaker out and seat the new one in the same position.
- Reconnect the battery and test ringtones, music and speakerphone before closing.
- Refit the lower cover and screws, apply new adhesive and press the back cover on evenly.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
