What this part is
The power and volume keys on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro are small caps that sit in the side of the frame and press on switches mounted on a flex cable inside. If a key falls out, cracks, sticks down or rattles, a new set of key caps restores the look and feel of the buttons.
These are the outer keys only. If the buttons are in place but the phone does not respond when you press them, the switch or flex cable inside may be at fault instead, and that is a separate part.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Redmi Note 8 Pro. Tap All specs for the full model name and number. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro has its fingerprint sensor on the back, below the cameras. Pick the colour that matches your frame.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Open the back cover carefully with a thin pick and disconnect the battery.
- Lift the button flex or bracket just enough to free the old key caps from the inside of the frame.
- Seat the new keys in the frame openings and refit the flex or bracket behind them.
- Reconnect the battery and check that power, volume up and volume down all click and respond.
- Close the phone and press the back cover on evenly.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Only if the key cap itself is missing or broken. If the caps are fine but the phone does not respond, the button flex cable or switch inside is the likely fault.
Is it made by Xiaomi?
No. These are brand new, OEM-quality side keys made to fit the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, and they are tested before dispatch.
Should I fit them myself?
We recommend professional installation. On most models the keys are fitted from inside the frame, so the phone has to be opened and the battery disconnected.
